ABOUT THE SEMINAR
Economy, Efficiency, Effectiveness and Eco concerns form the four significant pillars for sustainable growth of any nation. World wide major R&D initiatives in the field of I.C. engine are focused on design and development of fuel efficient and environment benign vehicles complying to Euro IV emission norms and beyond so that we can preserve the environment for our future generation and conserve fuel. This “Indo-German Seminar on Future Mobility” will be organized at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, India during Feb 26-27, 2010. This seminar is being held just before the implementation of EURO-IV compliant vehicles in 11 cities of India and EURO-III vehicles in rest of the country from 1st April 2010. The presentations are focused on the latest cutting edge technology in I.C. Engine and are in the form of invited lectures by reputed international and national experts. It would become an ideal platform for automotive manufacturers, downstream hydrocarbon industry, related technocrats, scientists, engineers, researchers and policy makers. The seminar would provide ample opportunities to exchange ideas and forge business relationships.
SCOPE OF SEMINAR
The seminar would have invited presentations on the following broad areas:

- Alternative Powertrain Systems, e.g. HCCI and Hybrid Vehicles
- Alternative Fuel Vehicles, e.g. CNG, LPG, Hydrogen, DME, Biofuels & Fuel cell vehicles
- Alternative Energy Vehicles, e.g. Electrical and solar
- Biofuels for Aircraft and Locomotives
- Vehicle Fuel Economy, CO2 and other GHG emissions
