Projects involving a grant by way of financial inputs by government departments, international bodies etc. either in full or in part, assistance in kind to supplement R&D efforts in ongoing or new R&D projects or for creating new capabilities.

The rights of licensing intellectual property in case of government departments may be as per their standard terms and conditions. Where the granter has no standard conditions and for non-government agencies licensing rights rest with CSIR.
