TECHNOLOGY: Delayed coking of Petroleum Residual fractions
APPLICATIONS: Delayed coking of petroleum residues is basically done for the manufacture of:
- Metallurgical grade petroleum coke
- More lighter fractions (upgrading of residual fractions)
TECHNOLOGY STATUS: - The process has been jointly developed
with EiL and licensed to two refineries in the country (BRPL & NRL) with total licensed capacity of about 1.5 MMTPA

- Long residue and short residues can be used in the process
