TECHNOLOGY: Solvent Deoiling Technology / Solvent Dewaxing Technology
Solvent Deoiling Technology
APPLICATIONS:
- Grass root Deoiling units for production of paraffin/ micro and semi micro crystalline waxes.
- Integrated Deoiling unit addition to an existing solvent Dewaxing unit
- Process modifications of Dewaxing unit for change over to blocked out operation in Dewaxing/ Deoiling modes for oil and wax production.
- Quality upgradation of high pour VGO/reduction of unwanted high wax content from feed intermediates
TECHNOLOGY STATUS: - Jointly developed with EIL
- Process package submitted for solvent deoiling units at 2 locations.
- Transferred process data for change over of Dewaxing unit to Deoiling
mode operation.
SALIENT FEATURES:
- Optimum solvent composition and lower fresh solvent requirements.
- Dilution and Chilling profiles designed for controlled crystallization, narrow CSD leading to slurry with high filterability and balanced filer cycle.
- Higher throughput and product yields while meeting quality requirements for product wax.
- Energy efficient process, stable operation and high on stream factor.
- Operational flexibility/ adaptability to process varying feeds in block-out operation.
- Process suitability for production of different grades of paraffin and micro crystalline waxes with ready process back up advantage.
Solvent Dewaxing Technology
APPLICATIONS:
- Grass root solvent Dewaxing unit for LOBS production
- Revamp/ modification/ expansion of existing Dewaxing units
- Integrated oil-wax production unit
- Manufacture of specially products like TOBS, white oil etc
TECHNOLOGY STATUS: - Jointly developed with EIL
- Test run conducted on SDU's at HR, BR and MRL
- Know how transferred for Haldia SDU revamp to enhance LOBS production
- Process know-how continuously updated
SALIENT FEATURES:
- Process scheme with unique multi stage dilution pattern and cooling profile for maximum gains, updated by incorporating several technological advances/ innovations
- Solvent of optimum composition employed at low S/F ratio to minimize chiller area/refrigeration requirements and solvent recovery load
- Controlled crystallization option, cold back wash and prudent recycle for high DWO yield and low slack wax oil content
- Cost competitive, energy efficient process with high through put
