• Design and development of stable nano-materials (metal oxides, porous materials for selective catalysis)
• Slurry phase hydro-cracking of petroleum coal tar and vacuum residue
• Residue conversion by delayed coking process
• Synthesis and crystal structure determination of organic and organic-inorganic hybrid porous materials
• Characterizing multi-functional porous materials which can selectively adsorb a particular guest molecule
• Synthesis and characterization of pressure dependent dynamic materials
• Thermal expansion behavior of flexible compounds
• Synthesis and characterizing magnetic coordination polymers
• Synthesis and characterization of photo-active materials and modulation of their magnetic and porous properties by employing [2+2] cyclo-addition reaction
• Enantio-selective separation through homo-chiral porous coordination polymers (PCPs)
