Achievements

Developed energy and capital efficient cryogenic process to concentrate the helium from 300-500 ppm to 70-99 mol% in natural gas stream. Know how transfer to ONGC- Energy Centre Trust for putting the demonstration plant of 750 nM3/hr Natural gas processing capacity with EIL as engineering Partner.
Developed cost efficient novel design of pilot plant for CO₂Hydrogenation to Methanol for 10 kg/day Methanol Production. Know how has been transferred to NETRA (NTPC).
Developed Improved Propane Deasphalting (PDA) Process through better heat exchanger network design for reducing the energy requirement by 50%, (Successfully implemented in the PDA Plant, CPCL, Chennai).
Developed improved design of robust and cost effective solvent recovery section without a fired furnace for wax production technology commercialized at Numaligarg Refinery (NRL), Assam
Developed a new process Schemes for increasing gas oil yield, energy efficiency, profitability and reducing the GHG emission in crude oil distillation (US 9546324B2, US 11,859,139, IN 323867).
Received many awards by the members of modelling and simulation area for immense contribution in technology development and commercialization. Major awards include TDB National Award 2019, TDB National Award 2017, IEI Young Engineers Award 2016-2017, MoP&NG and CHT best innovation in R&D (14-15), CSIR Technology award, 2016 and CSIR Innovation award, 2014
