Brief Specifications UV-Vis Spectroscopy is mainly used to study structural aspects of unsaturated molecules. The naphthalene content in ATF petroleum samples are estimated by ASTM 1840 method using UV Vis spectrometer.
Applications UV-Vis for determination of Aromatics upto Diesel range.

Sample requirements (quantity, nature, pre-treatment etc. and any other specific requirements 10 mL Sample as per above-mentioned applications.
Solubility in Isooctane.
