Advanced Gas Separation area at CSIR-IIP have initiated experimental investigation in collaboration with ONGC Energy Centre to establish the proof of concept for alternative route of production of hydrogen from H2S through partially open loop S-I cycle using SO2. Various experimental activities are presently undergoing for design, fabrication and parametric investigation for Bunsen reaction and HI distillation.
