- Development of sustainable environment-friendly practices for waste disposal, collection and segregation
- Awareness programs/ workshop to teach campus society people about differentiating different kinds of wastes and their segregation
- Conversion of plastic waste to fuel and chemicals using CSIR-IIP waste plastic technology
- Development of microbial consortium for the decomposition of common house hold organic waste
- Utilization of woody/ dry biomass to develop activated carbon for applications in different areas such as in catalysis, adsorbent, water purification etc
- Lab waste management: centralized storage facility for the used solvent prior to distillation and recycling by Gov. Authorized TSDF facility
- Establishment of store yard for placing unused/ unlabeled chemicals prior to disposal
- Establishment of contact through MOU with authorized TSDF for hazardous waste management
