  • An analytical method developed for the determination of biodiesel in diesel. The method provided to BIS for adoption as a standard.
  • Provided analytical support in the technologies developed at the institute.
  • Biojet Fuel: Determination of paraffin distribution and aromatic (mono-di- and poly-) hydrocarbon contents in the bio-jet fuel through GC-FID (ASTM D6730) and HPLC (ASTM D6591) respectively. Determination of sulfur species by GC-SCD (ASTM D5623).
  • Waste plastic-to-fuel: Determination of individual component-wise analysis of gasoline (ASTM D6730), RON/MON (GC), refinery gas analysis (STM D7833), paraffin distribution and sulfur by GC.
