We are mainly focused towards the development of the novel materials and processes for the synthesis of speciality chemicals, petrochemicals and additives by using catalytic as well as photocatalytic routes. The group is actively engaged towards developing molecular complexes and their heterogeneous analogues by using novel insitu and post grafting approaches using various supporting materials. The strength of the group lies in the homogeneous transition metal based catalysts, heterogenization, photocatalytic applications and processes for the petrochemicals. - Photocatalytic reduction of carbon dioxide to fuel and chemicals
- Utilization of carbon dioxide for value added chemicals
- Development of organic transformations using catalytic and photocatalytic routes
- Process developments for petrochemicals from low value refinery screams as well as renewable feedstocks
