The Institute has state of the art facilities in compliance with ASTM/IP/UOP/BIS standards for analyzing and evaluating of petroleum products.

The detailed hydrocarbon analysis provided is extensively used by the hydrocarbon sector for pricing of crude oils along with for transportation and absorption of new crude in refineries.

The institute has been instrumental in the analysis of condensates, industrial and automotive lubricants, fuel oils and bio-fuels along with crudes. Several value addition feasibility studies have also been done to help the industry in enhancement of their profit margins.
